Advantages of Using Ruby Inserts:
- Ruby banger inserts offer all the perks that quartz inserts bring
- They help keep the bucket extra clean, act as a barrier to heat, and allow for different dabbing techniques like cold starts which can alter the experience and flavors you get.
- Ruby will never “chazz” or become hazy like quartz, but it’s less thermally resistant, so heat or flame should never be applied directly to the insert.
- Heat cleaning the insert WHILE placed inside the nail is recommended
Recommended cleaning methods:
Heat clean: Place the insert inside the banger. Apply an even flame all around the outside of the banger bucket, do not focus on one spot for more than 5 seconds.
Soak: Grab your favorite cleaning solution and soak the completely cooled insert in the solution. Do not soak a hot or warm insert. It will break.
